Dec 7th 2024 Lunch & Somers Point Christmas Parade
So we started the day with lunch at Cindy and Mike's house.
Some great food and time to sit and relax with friends.
Then it was a cruise down the Parkway to Somers Point where we
joined the Somers Point Christmas Parade.
Wow... a chilly Saturday night and thousands of people lined the streets of Somers Point
to see the parade. There were marching bands, Corvettes, fire trucks and police cars.
One of the floats with Frosty on it was making it snow.
Mrs Grinch gave out a bag of candy canes. Wendy gave out 60 Hot Wheels..
It was a fun event. It was exciting to see so many people out in the street cheering the parade on.
Maybe next year we can get 12 Corvettes and the Ford again and setup like
Santa and his reindeer (if we get 13, we can put a red Vette up front as Rudolf)
Frosty or the Grinch will have to be in our sleigh because Santa rides at the end of the parade.
